Terms of Service for Mythica

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to the mobile game Mythica, which is operated by LapitoGames (“we”, “us”, or “our”).

Please read them before you play. They explain what you may do with the game, how purchases work, and what you can expect from us.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using Mythica, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not download or use the game.

These Terms are an agreement between you and LapitoGames. The app store you downloaded the game from is not a party to them, although its own rules also apply to your download and your purchases.

2. Use of the Game

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to install and play Mythica on a device you own or control, for your own personal and non-commercial entertainment.

You do not own the game or any part of it. You receive a licence to use it, and that licence lasts for as long as you comply with these Terms.

You may not rent, lease, sell, sublicense, or commercially exploit Mythica or any content in it without our written permission.

3. Accounts and Device Data

Mythica does not require you to create an account. Your profile name and avatar are stored on your own device.

Because your progress is kept on the device, deleting the app or clearing its data may remove that progress along with any unused virtual items. We cannot restore progress that is lost this way.

Our Privacy Policy explains what information the game and its third-party services handle.

4. Virtual Currency and In-App Purchases

Mythica may offer virtual currency, such as gold or coins, along with other digital items and features that can be bought inside the game. Some purchases are consumable, such as currency packs that are used up as you play. Others are one-time purchases that stay unlocked on your device.

Virtual currency and virtual items have no monetary value. They are not your property and are not a credit balance. You may use them only inside Mythica, and you may not sell, trade, transfer, or exchange them outside the game.

We do not buy virtual items back and we cannot exchange them for real money. Access to virtual items depends on your continued access to the game, and they may become unavailable if the game or a feature is discontinued as described in section 10.

Purchases are processed by the app store you use, such as the Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment card details.

Refunds are handled by that app store under its own policies, so a refund request should be made there. Where you have mandatory refund or withdrawal rights under the law of your country, those rights continue to apply.

5. Advertising

Mythica may show advertisements, including advertisements you choose to watch in exchange for a reward in the game.

Some purchases may remove certain types of advertising. Where a purchase does so, the description shown at the time of purchase explains what it covers. Such a purchase does not necessarily remove every form of third-party content, promotional message, or notification shown by your device or your app store.

6. Acceptable Use

When using Mythica, you agree not to:

• cheat, exploit bugs, or use unauthorised software to gain an advantage;
• use bots, scripts, emulated input, or other automation to play the game;
• modify, decompile, reverse engineer, or attempt to derive the source code of the game, except where the law expressly allows it;
• obtain virtual currency, items, or paid features other than through the game or an official app store;
• interfere with the game, our services, or our content delivery, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to them;
• copy, redistribute, or republish the game or its content, including through unofficial stores or modified builds.

7. Intellectual Property

Mythica and its content — including the software and its code, the artwork, character designs, written story content, music and sound, user interface, and the Mythica and LapitoGames names and logos — belong to LapitoGames or to the parties who licensed that content to us, and are protected by intellectual property law.

Mythica draws on Greek myths and other stories that are part of the public domain. We claim no ownership of those underlying myths, their names, or the historical works they come from. What we own is our own creative expression of them: the artwork, text, designs, puzzles, and presentation we created for the game.

Except for the licence described in section 2, nothing in these Terms gives you rights in our content.

8. Third-Party Services

Mythica is distributed and supported through services that we do not control, including the Apple App Store and Google Play, and it uses third-party services for payments, analytics, crash reporting, advertising, and content delivery.

Those services operate under their own terms and privacy policies, and your use of them is a matter between you and the provider concerned. The Privacy Policy lists the categories of providers we work with.

9. Updates and Changes

We may update Mythica over time. Features, content, prices, rewards, and the balance of the in-game economy may change, be added, or be removed as the game develops.

We may also update these Terms, for example when the game changes or when legal requirements change. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.

If you keep using Mythica after updated Terms are published, you accept them. If you do not agree with a change, you can stop using the game and uninstall it.

10. Availability and Termination

We work to keep Mythica available and running well, but we cannot guarantee that it will always be available or uninterrupted. Maintenance, technical problems, app store decisions, and network conditions can all affect it.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue the game or any of its features. Where we discontinue the game or a paid feature entirely, and it is reasonable in the circumstances, we will aim to give notice in advance.

We may limit or end your access to the game if you seriously or repeatedly breach these Terms, in particular section 6. You may end this agreement at any time by uninstalling the game.

11. Disclaimer

To the extent permitted by law, Mythica is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind. We do not promise that the game will be free of errors or interruptions, or that it will meet your particular expectations.

Some countries do not allow certain warranties to be excluded. Where that is the case, this section applies only as far as the law allows, and your statutory rights are not affected.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, LapitoGames is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of Mythica, such as lost data, lost game progress, or lost profits.

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited under applicable law. Where we are liable despite the above, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Mythica and its in-app purchases in the twelve months before the event that gave rise to the claim.

13. Governing Law

LapitoGames is based in Türkiye, and these Terms are governed by Turkish law.

If you use Mythica as a consumer in another country, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer rules of the country where you live, and you keep the right to bring a claim before the courts or consumer bodies available to you there.
